The Boston Tea Party came about because of frustrations between the colonists and Great Britain. The Tea Act of 1773 led the way for a monopoly style of influence from the East India Company that angered the colonists. They were coming into the realm of enjoying independent thought and action and had been ruling theirselves more so than the Crown. And when the Crown (i.e. King of England) established laws that impacted their lives WITHOUT any input from the colonists, they retaliated.
The questions that I present to you are as follows:
1. Why exactly did the Boston Tea Party occur?
2. Who were the key participants, or the sides of the conflict?
3. What were the results, the aftermath?
4. Do you think it should have happened and what did both sides do wrong in this event?
