The Chariton Collector
The Chariton Collector was a locally produced publication of regional history and folklore. The periodical was biannually and produced by the Local and State History class at the Kirksville Senior High School, Kirksville, MO. Students would research various local and regional topics that interested them and through interviews, etc., the students would create articles to be included in the periodical. This was long before the advent of the Internet, the Chariton Collector was published from 1980 through 1989.
A few years ago, Katherine Goodwin, a Truman State University student, compiled the archive of articles in pdf format online. This is now part of the Pickler Library Special Collections.

Go to the collection of articles found at the above link. Search through the collection for articles directly related to Novinger, Missouri.
